Autumn - A magical time

Hey Guys.
New day, new post! =)
I love the fact that I actually got followers! Thank you so much to : Seattlelover7, Leigh Fallon and Jessica!

Okay so autumn has finally arrived and at this time of the year I get a boost of inspiration. It may be the colors or simply the fact that the leaves are falling down from the trees above my head, but one thing is for sure: I LOVE AUTUMN! I'm pretty sure I would survive without the falling degree and the cold but still the best thing you can do it to look around you, up on the trees and just... just let anything come into your head. You may have a  new chapter in your book, I mean... who knows?

Actually something funny happened today after school. I saw Lauren walking on the street and the leafs surrounded her as she walked... Oh that's right, you don't know who Lauren is... Well she is the main character in my book. Yeeey! She's alive.
Sometimes I can just get a scene in my head and the first thing I'll do is to repeat it in my head time after time so that I won't forget it. It actually works!

Do you like the autumn or maybe another season?

My Inspirations

Hey Guys!
Everyone who is writing a book, short story or anything at all knows that unless you don't get inspired, the book won't move further. I've experienced it a lot! For example a song. When I listen to it, ideas will float in to my head like rain on the grass. Ahaha, bad example with the Rain and Grass thing but hopefully you get it. Back to the point. You will get the ideas, write them in your book and then... then what?
Yes, the songs inspiration is used and you need to find yourself another inspiration source.
Tricky but it works to listen to one song at the time and then write all the ideas that comes into your head down at a paper or on your computer and then later you can have those till the next time you're going to write.

This can be me sometimes:
My Inspirations comes as different things happens in my life.
If I discover a new song and the text makes pictures in my head I always write them down.

Some of the things I get inspired by are:
  • Songs
  • Quotes
  • Movies
  • Persons in my life (mostly evil people gets a role in my book like, themself, only they got a different name)
  • Myself, my conversations with myself, the voices in my head, the characters in my book talks to me! =)

Something you agree with? Do you have any special inspiration sources?
Tell me! comment below and follow my blog =D

Got to love books!

Hey Guys! =)

Once when I was about 10 years old I wondered if I was the only one who loved books. My classmates said that they hated to read. Imagine how glad I was to find out that I was not alone in this world that had a passion for books! My passion for books are massive and so is my passion for writing.
Being creative is easy for me. to place yourself in a book is like for me opening a door. I can see the picture that the book are telling. It feels like a movie is playing inside my head.
It's quite funny when you think about it! I'm reading a book and when I'm finished I realize that it felt like watching a movie.

Currently I'm reading Magic Study by Maria V. Snyder and so far... I'm loving it!
I recommend you to read these books I've pictured down below and I've written the pitch of each and everyone of them.
I'll be writing book reports of each book I've read. So the first book I will write about is: Posion Study.

Poison study:
Choose: A quick death...or a slow poison...About to be executed for murder, Yelena is offered an extraordinary reprieve. She'll eat the best meals, have rooms in the palace - and risk assassination by anyone trying to kill the Commander of Ixia. And so Yelena chooses to become a food taster. But the chief of security, leaving nothing to chance, deliberately feeds her Butterfly's Dust - and only by appearing for her daily antidote will she delay an agonising death from the poison. As Yelena tries to escape her new dilemma, disasters keep mounting. Rebels plot to seize Ixia and Yelena develops magical powers she can't control. Her life is threatened again and choices must be made. But this time the outcomes aren't so clear...

Magic study:
Completing her apprenticeship could prove deadly...With an execution order on her head, Yelena has no choice but to escape to Sitia, the land of her birth. With only a year to master her magic - or face death - Yelena must begin her apprenticeship and travels to the Four Towers of the Magician's Keep. But nothing in Sitia is familiar. Not the family to whom she is a stranger. Not the unsettling new facets of her magic. Nor the brother who resents her return. As she struggles to understand where she belongs and how to control her rare powers, a rogue magician emerges - and Yelena catches his eye.Suddenly she is embroiled in battle of good against evil. And once again it will be her magical abilities that will either save her life...or be her downfall.

Fire study:
Yelena's apprenticeship is over - now her real test has begun. When word that Yelena is a Soulfinder - able to capture and release souls - spreads like wildfire, people grow uneasy. Already Yelena's unusual abilities and past have set her apart. As the Council debates Yelena's fate, she receives a disturbing message: a plot is rising against her homeland, led by a murderous sorcerer she has defeated before."Honour" sets Yelena on a path that will test the limits of her skills, and the hope of reuniting with her beloved spurs her onward. Her journey is fraught with allies, enemies, lovers and would-be assassins, each of questionable loyalty. Yelena will have but one chance to prove herself - and save the land she holds dear.

Storm glass:
Untrained. Untested. Unleashed. With her unique magical abilities, Opal has always felt unsure of her place at Sitia's magic academy. But when the Stormdancer clan needs help, Opal's knowledge makes her the perfect choice - until the mission goes awry. Pulling her powers in unfamiliar directions, Opal finds herself tapping into a new kind of magic as stunningly potent as it is frightening. Now Opal must deal with plotters out to destroy the Stormdancer clan, as well as a traitor in their midst. With danger and deception rising around her, will Opal's untested abilities destroy her - or save them all?

Sea glass:
Student glass magician Opal Cowan's newfound ability to steal a magician's powers makes her too powerful. Ordered to house arrest, Opal dares defy her imprisonment, travelling to the Moon Clan's lands in search of Ulrick, the man she thinks she loves. Thinks because she is sure another man - now her prisoner - has switched souls with Ulrick. In hostile territory, without proof or allies, Opal isn't sure whom to trust. She can't forget Kade, the handsome Stormdancer who doesn't want to let her get close. And now everyone is after Opal's special powers for their own deadly gain.

Spy glass:
An undercover mission leads to danger, adventure and an impossible choice. After siphoning her own blood magic in the showdown at Hubal, Opal Cowan has lost her powers. She can no longer create glass magic. More, she's immune to the effects of magic. Opal is now an outsider looking in, spying through the glass on those with the powers she once had, powers that make a difference in the world. Until spying through the glass becomes her new power. Suddenly, the beautiful pieces she makes flash in the presence of magic. And then she discovers that someone has stolen some of her blood - and that finding it might let her regain her powers. Or know it could be they are lost forever.

Hey

So it would be absolutley weird not to inform you guys of what this blog has been made for so I will tell you shortly about the things that I've made this blog for :)
First of all the title of the blog is Fantasy VS Reality.
Why? Because sometimes it is easier to just hide in the world of fantasy than to face the reality.
Which one to choose? both, you can't live your life in fantasy dreaming about prince charming coming to save you from life filled with problems. Sometimes growing up means giving away your childhood, your imagination and your dreams of becoming something big, but you decide yourself. Life without imagination is not called life. not for me!
In this blog I won't be writing too much personal but I'll put my thoughts into the diffrent posts.
I'll write about the books I've read, The book I'm writing and different types of music and inspiration.
I won't be able to post daily but when I first get the time to post I'll make it a kind of long post.

Hope you will read it or follow it  =D
