The Famous Hunger Games

The Famous Hunger Games
Today I watched The Hunger Games with my best friend Ania.
Now, that's all about me but let's talk about the movie. As you know the world has been buzzing about this movie and I for once could not wait to see if it was as good as everyone claimed it would be. Let's see my review, shall we?

The Hunger Games

The story is good. It's strong, kind of like Katniss. It survives! The movie however. Please do note that I have not read the books yet. Simply because they haven't arrived from amazon.com.
As all movies this one too had it's ups and downs.

The Effects:
I loved them! I LOVED how they used the weapons, the explosion and especially the music. Really great instrumental music playing in the background and setting the mood. The training sessions was of all the movie by far the best scene! Truly. Amazing. The quality of the film was annoying. Some places it was perfect while other where so.... dusty! Also there was this ONE effect I wasn't fond of... when they were set on fire. The flames looked fake. I don't like things that look fake. The makeup she had at the end, the butterfly eye shadow was incredible! I want that too!

The Characters:
Haymitch, Haymitch, Haymitch. WHAT A DUDE! Seriously, he was awesome! As mentioned I have not read the books yet but he was amazing. whether it was his character or him as an actor this guy got serious talent! He's one of my most favorite characters in this movie.

Gale was put aside. Yes, Yes, I know it was about the games and everything but couldn't they have done something more with Gale? All we got was two scenes and both quite short. We didn't get anything more than that they might have a thing going on. Gale might as well not have been in the movie. Instead of watching the long clips of the line for The Hunger Games children they could have made a greater deal out of Gale. Right now I don't know if I like him or not.

Cinna, was I the only one to notice the sexual tension between Katniss and Cinna? God, there was so much of it that it drove me crazy. A part of me was waiting for the two of them to make out. No joke! Other than the sexual tension he was great! Also one of my favorite characters.

Peeta, what to say about you? I'm not sure how I feel about Peeta. His character was a little bit....I don't know. I didn't quite hate him but I didn't love him either. I guess I've read too many Peeta jokes to even take him seriously. Which reminds me that most of the jokes were about Josh/Peeta always talking about the Cave Scene. Oh My God! How much I've craved to see what this famous and big deal this cave scene has to this story. When I sat there with my best friend I kept asking her when it would pop up and she told me to wait. When they first found the cave and it was like this small scene I looked at here giving here the "That's it?" look. Luckily she shook her head. When the REAL Cave Scene came and the dialogue between Katniss and Peeta started I suddenly began to laugh. By laughing I mean so much that no noise would come out and I sat there shaking so much and tears filling my eyes. I haven't laughed that much in a loooooong time.
Why I laughed, you ask?
Simple. Because the dialogue they had was completely out of the context. It felt like they had changed the movie or something. And maybe I laughed a tiny bit because of all the Cave Scene jokes I remembered that I'd read.

Rue was the most alive character. Alive as in showing the emotions correctly and you know, being alive. She obviously was the youngest one and reminded Katniss of her little sister Primrose. Oh, and that's the other thing. I don't like Primrose. Don't ask why, because I don't got a good reason but it's just a feeling. Rue on the other hand was more like Katniss's little sister. Obviously that is probably what the author created her for. When she died I didn't get very emotional. That's kind of the funny part. Yes, the actors showed emotions but either those emotions wasn't good enough or my emotions where on a break. Because I cry easily. I cry for everything. I'm not even joking. A small scene and you'll see me wiping away the tears in a hurry.

Finally, Cato and his gang. Cato was asdfghjkl material! Ania and I held each other so strongly whenever he showed up and my heart just kept skipping some beats. His attitude and the way he was. I ADORE HIM! Of course killing people is bad, unless you're in The Hunger Games but the way he did it. He got style.
His gang on the other hand. Weeeeeeeell, they were great too but he did stand out! Maybe a tiiiiiiny bit arrogant but come on guys, he got the FACE!

The Girl On Fire and overall.
Katniss was great and Jennifer Lawrence was flawless. She played well and her emotions and the way she were was amazing. Overall I think the movie was great! although I have this slight issue with the handheld camera where there should NOT be a handheld camera. Also I was expecting more blood! The fact that they had looong endless clips about the crowds and all of that I really got mad when I found out that the people that got killed first couldn't be filmed properly with actually showing that they was getting killed.

I'm definitely looking forward to reading the books! No matter how the movie is the books always have that little extra. Also maybe I'll get to know these characters better. Arg! It annoys me so much that Gale was put aside when he obviously had a big part in Katniss's life.

We Own The Sky

Each shade of blue
Is kept in our eyes
Keep blowing and lighting
Because we own the sky

Secrets from the winds
Burnt stars crying

Soft soft or cruel
Can't we change our minds?
We kill what we build
Because we own the sky

Secrets from the winds
Burnt stars crying

So many moons here
Lost wings floating

It's coming, it's coming now!
It's coming, it's coming now!
What's coming? What's coming now?
What's coming? What's coming now?

It's coming from the sky
It's coming from the wind

INSPIRATION - Music, Writing, Dancing, Singing.... whatever YOU like doing!

Hey Guys! :)

Almost Everything - Wakey!Wakey!

I've been checking my stats lately and really people are reading my blog :) It makes me happy and sometimes you never know how much you can inspire people or how someone can find themselves in your situation. I love the fact that music can bring people together and so can simple blogs like mine. You're here maybe because you only clicked a button called next. If you're reading this post right now it means that you find it interesting. Either you like the music I present to you or maybe you just agree with my opinions about music.

One Tree Hill is definitly the best show I've ever watched. Sometimes my friends ask me why? Why do you like this show so much? Why do you like watching something that contains so much drama? Well have you seen how they handle it? Look past the drama and you'll find... honesty? something you sometimes can relate to and not to mention their friendship. Their friendship.... it's really strong! you end up thinking, I really hope that me and my friends will stay that way. One Tree Hill for me is inspiration! :)

It's been many music blog posts and the reason is that when I liste to music the first thing that comes in my mind is a story. I'm a writer so whenever a story pops up I listen to the song again and again to keep the story in mind. Lately I haven't written anything but I believe that when your heart and mind is ready to start writing again the message will be sent and you might get this urgent feeling about doing something.... writing something or just sing, dance, play music, make something that means a lot to you.

Light Outside - Wakey!Wakey!

Have you ever wondered where you would be if it hadn't been for your dreams, ambitions, inspiration, the music, the writing... whatever YOU liked to do, or still like? Think about it ;)

Any thoughts you want to share? :)

Music - What is it? (+ 4 "new" songs)

Hey Guys!

So, today is time for another music blog post where I again have discovered new songs or bands which aren't as new as they might seem to you. Good songs are never too old! :)

First up: Jessie J
I really like this song and I think it's because it's a song about how important it is to be yourself, no matter what you are who you are. Be original be yourself!

WHO YOU ARE - Jessie J

PRICE TAG - Jessie J

Next up: Pendulum
I just heard them for a few minutes ago and it is something with songs and bands that you just need a minute to listen to and you know that you're going to like them!

WATERCOLOUR - Pendulum

WITCHCRAFT - Pendulum

MUSIC:
What is music for you?
Often I hear people say: "What are you listening to? Ah, turn it off!"
Please, like you don't already know that everyone don't have the same taste in music.
Music is something we listen to almost all the time. When we're happy, when we're sad or when we know a song that we can relate to.
Music is inspiration.
I listen to different kind of music all the time. It depends on how I feel.
I can't say that I'm "true" to one genre.
Music is music! If you don't like it then don't listen to it. No one force you!
:)

Any thoughts?

New Year, New Opportunities...or?

Hey Guys!

I know, It's been a looooooooong time since I've been blogging and I sort of haven't been writing in my projects either. I was ill and now I'm back, I don't know how much I'll blog or how long the blog posts will be but I'll sure try my best! :)

FACEBOOK eats you up alive, sometimes you can sit there for hours and still don't do anything. You end up liking stuff and like people's pictures, their statuses, their likes and so it goes on and on.
I had, like most people do have, Christmas holidays but guess what! I still couldn't manage to write.
Writer's block?
Nope.
I just can't write if I sit down and decide to write. Familiar situation?
My  myself have had some ups and downs. The feelings have been jumping and there just haven't been any thoughts around The Taste of Death or Unbreakable. Luckily I managed to finish writitng Gone, which was a short story for two of my best friends. It turned out pretty well, so well that I've decided to write a Gone Part 2.

Have you ever been in a situation when you don't know if you comepletely believe in yourself? I've been there and right now I'm standing with one leg on each of the sides. That's when you really need your best friend! Thank god for have sent me Ania! Today I really thought about where I would be standing if she wasn't in my life and the truth is that The Taste of Death had been buried or deleted. The lack of support is digging it's way in to my brain. It feels like it's eating up my creativity... Sad, I know.

Positive thing: I'm still ADDICTED to reading.
I believe that if I read enough and constantly I'll eventually get rid of this I-can't-write desise. And then Ania and some of the other few friends that knows about me writing stop waiting for me to write and for them to read more. I have to admit, it's pretty awesome to watch them read the latest pages I give them. To put it this way: THEY ARE THE REASON FOR MY WRITING!

What do you think?

I HAVE 14 FOLLOWERS! :D

Hey Guys!

Yesterday was the best day since.... well since I can remember! ^^
I got 14 followers and I believe that the new ones are alive! Hurraaaay!

Yesterday was a good day! A day when you just felt like smiling, without any reason at all!
I can feel that the inspiration is on top and I'm probably going to write some more in Unbreakable.
So far, I've figured out how Alyssa is, her personality and her way of talking and thinking. Carter on the other hand, I haven't figured out anything about him yet. All I know is that he is the one that captures Alyssa.
Why can't he just work with me? Hahaha! ^^

So, I also have a decided to put a music video in each of the blog posts so I can keep it mixed with the book, movie, music theme of the blog :) But, what do you think the blog needs more of?
Look what I discovered!!! In this Music video by Hinder, KELLAN LUTZ!
ENJOY! :D

Inkpop.com

Hey Guys.

As I've seen, apperantly non of my followers are alive... what a shame.

Today I thought I could write about inkpop.com.
First of all, what a wonderful website! Two years ago I didn't even know about it. I was just beginning on the dream to become an author. I wanted praise and crituqe by the readers. I wanted help with what I could do better and how to do it. Then Authonomy.com came across. I asked to be a member and were allowed. Still I missed the teens. Those teens who the book is written for. Suddenly one day I got a message from one of he memebers in Authonomy, which by the way is like inkpop. He told me that my book was great and why I was sitting on authonomy and not on inkpop.

I was surprised when he said inkpop. What the hell is inkpop? I thought as I asked him in a more polite tone. Then he told me that it was like Authonomy only for teens and a place for teens to get their work out there and connect with others like themself. Facinated I checked it out. The first thing that hit me was the colors. they were absoultly eye catching. So I signed in, I took a look around and got a few friends.

Now what?
I've made some friends, checked out others work and commented. What else to do?
To publish a part of your own book smartass!
The truth.... I haven't done it yet. I'm always talking about that: "Oh soon I'm gonna put my book on inkpop." Do I do it?
No, I don't. I'm simply afraid of getting bad critique. Of course I do handle it. And I WILL put it on inkpop. First I'm going to edit it! Really well! A hundred times before I even will think of sharing it to the english speaking people out there in this major world!

INKPOP is a place you as a writer will enjoy!
People are supportive and give you good feedback.
They help you with something you might miss or could do better.

Future writer? VISIT INKPOP!
Read others work or write your own. =)

10 Followers & A new book project :D

Hey Guys! :)

I just logged on today and then I saw that I have 10 followers! Yay!
So, what have I been up to lately? Well, I can reveal that I have a new book prosject going on! :D I just started yesterday. I listened to a song that inspired me so much that I thought... WOW! I have to write a the story that popped up in my head at once when I listened to it.

My new book project is named UNBREAKABLE
I named it Unbreakable because of the strong female character that is one of the main characters in it.
Her name is Alyssa and she's a witch. Her personalty is quite right-to-the-point.
Carter is a wannabe bad ass boy. he captures Alyssa and hold her as a hostage, she prefer prisoner.
I am super exited for how this project is going to end and i've also decided that it's just one book, not a series. GO INSPIRATION! :D

Does it sound good to you?

Warning- Imagination running wild so get out of the way!

Hey Guys! :D

Yesterday I got this wild random boost of imagination. I was supposed to read for my test on school tomorrow when I read the two first pages I switched over to Fire Study, finished up reading a chapter and then continuing on to studying more and jumping back and forth for a while. It felt like a lightning had hit me.
My head began playing every single scene and dialouges for "The Fallen" the sequel to "The Taste of Death" =D

Where is the imagination recorder when we desperatly need for one?
Ahh.... How wonderful wouldn't the world be if you could just record those moments when you get new ideas on books and stories? Much easier then going around remembering everything.
Back to writing! =)

Movies - A Massive Inspiration Source! :D

Hey Guys! :)

I bet you see movies at least two days a week. I think the main reasons for why we love watching movies are that we can actually see the characters and how they fight or use whatever they may use as a weapon or a certain ability they have. It somehow get's better when we can see how they fight.
Some Examples:

Underworld
X-Men
Underworld
X-Men

Although people with imagination can even see the fight reading a book. Yes, those things happens only if the author has described it well! :) It's important to describe the place, the "smells", the facial expressions and of course how they are fighting. Don't forget the dialogue! My favorite type dialogue is where the fighters use sarcasm and teasing. I think those are awesome!

That's were movies can be a awesome guide! If you've seen it, you can describe it better!
When you see a fighting scene and want to tell it to your friend later about it you have to decribe it. The same thing with writing. Have you seen a awesome movie and want a similar fighting scene in your book you need to describe it life-like! ^^

Comment bellow if you feel to share your thoughts! :D

Music - My favorite bands and how they inspire me!

Hey Guys!
First of all:
To: 90% Anna and Jessica and 10% the other people stopping by my blog or leave a comment! Thank you for following my blog and for commenting!<3 And remember to look at the comments I reply! since we don't have fancy things reminding us on that I have repleid your answers or comment =)

Music is the main inspiration source for me! There is never one single day where I don't listen to music. The music helps everytime I have some kind of a thought time writing more in my book. It helps major when I don't know what I should write next and also to help myself relax. I listen to rock and not that kind where I can't even understand a word of what they're saying! No, because I love that kind of music that have a lyric I can understand and write from. :)
Here are some of the bands I LOVE! <3
Breaking Benjamin <3 The first rockband that gave me the first chapters of my book <3
Favorite Songs: Diary of Jane, Breath, Dance with the Devil, Evil Angel,
Rain (this song is actually quite calm and does not contain in the "rock" genre)
etc. :)

Linkin Park! :D The first song I really liked about them was : What I've Done <3
Favorite songs: Burning in the skies, The Requiem.

Yes! I like Selena Gomez :) but only a few of her songs.
Favorite: A Year Without Rain & Ghost of You

HURTS :D They only have some few songs and the band is known someplaces better than others
They're from Manchester in England :D I practically melt every time I hear his voice.
Favorite songs: Better Than Love & Wonderful Life & Illuminated

10 Years :) They're songs are different and so are the lenght of them.
My favorite song by 10 Years: The Autumn Effect.
It lasts for 9 minutes and 33 seconds and it is awesome!
It's not hard rock or I wouldn't even say that it's rock x)
It has a part when it seems like the song is over but it isn't. I got goosebumps when it continued!
Please listen to it on youtube! <3
Close your eyes to get a maximum effect at the end, When the song seems to end but doesn't :)

Story of The Year :) Actually I think there's just one song I love from them and that song is:
Until the Day I Die.
This is more rock then any of the other bands above.

AND I alomst forgot (shame on me!):
NICKELBACK! Love their songs and they pretty much decided the end in my book series <3
(Yes I know, I haven't even finished book number one yet and I'm thinking of the third! haha xD)
Favorite Songs: If Everyone Cared, Savin' Me, My Sacrefice, Far Away,
Gotta Be Somebody, Burn It To The Ground and Hero!

Each and everyone of these bands give me inspiration and motivasion. Their songs can help you when you're down and you may relate to them. As for me they inspire me!

Listen to some of their songs, it may be the one I listed up under their pictures :)
Do you like any of these bands?

Halloween - Becoming Paranoid and Candy!

Hey Guys!
As you have noticed I made a header for this month and as we all know 31st october is HALLOWEEN! :D
That means of course scary movies and a lot of candy! Yeeey!
Halloween is the time for the ghosts, werewolf and vampires to come out and go from door to door saying.... "Trick or Treat" ? Haha xD
No, if that had happened I would probably die of a heart attack! x_x

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki in SUPERNATURAL!
Something anyone who loves scary series would love!
I do! ^^
Friday The 13th. I've not seen it but it definitley sounds scary!

<3 I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THE UNDERWORLD MOVIES <3

CANDY! A must in every home at Halloween :D
And something less scary :) A cute pumkin <3

Halloween can be pretty inspiring! I mean the goosebumps and the moment when you suddenly get so scared that your heart beats a hundred times faster or even skip some heart beats. Remember those feelings! If you have them in head next time your writing, (remeber to describe what the character is feeling! for example: My heart skipped a beat as my eyes searched the room.) That way your writing will be more alive and the readers will also become more aware of what's happening! :)

I know I have to write that Posison Study book reveiw soon and I promise that it will be posted (hopefully) on Saturday! =)

And for those who already are following : Again Thank you! =)

Autumn - A magical time

Hey Guys.
New day, new post! =)
I love the fact that I actually got followers! Thank you so much to : Seattlelover7, Leigh Fallon and Jessica!

Okay so autumn has finally arrived and at this time of the year I get a boost of inspiration. It may be the colors or simply the fact that the leaves are falling down from the trees above my head, but one thing is for sure: I LOVE AUTUMN! I'm pretty sure I would survive without the falling degree and the cold but still the best thing you can do it to look around you, up on the trees and just... just let anything come into your head. You may have a  new chapter in your book, I mean... who knows?

Actually something funny happened today after school. I saw Lauren walking on the street and the leafs surrounded her as she walked... Oh that's right, you don't know who Lauren is... Well she is the main character in my book. Yeeey! She's alive.
Sometimes I can just get a scene in my head and the first thing I'll do is to repeat it in my head time after time so that I won't forget it. It actually works!

Do you like the autumn or maybe another season?
Tell me =)

My Inspirations

Hey Guys!
Everyone who is writing a book, short story or anything at all knows that unless you don't get inspired, the book won't move further. I've experienced it a lot! For example a song. When I listen to it, ideas will float in to my head like rain on the grass. Ahaha, bad example with the Rain and Grass thing but hopefully you get it. Back to the point. You will get the ideas, write them in your book and then... then what?
Yes, the songs inspiration is used and you need to find yourself another inspiration source.
Tricky but it works to listen to one song at the time and then write all the ideas that comes into your head down at a paper or on your computer and then later you can have those till the next time you're going to write.

This can be me sometimes:
My Inspirations comes as different things happens in my life.
If I discover a new song and the text makes pictures in my head I always write them down.

Some of the things I get inspired by are:
  • Songs
  • Quotes
  • Movies
  • Persons in my life (mostly evil people gets a role in my book like, themself, only they got a different name)
  • Myself, my conversations with myself, the voices in my head, the characters in my book talks to me! =)

Something you agree with? Do you have any special inspiration sources?
Tell me! comment below and follow my blog =D
